Who we are

Pamper Align is run by Kali, offering yoga classes, Reiki healing, tarot & intuitive readings, and meditation & breathwork in and around Milton Keynes. For anything to do with this policy or your personal information, you can reach us at info@pamperalign.com.

What information we collect

Booking a class

When you book a class through this website, we collect your name, email address, and phone number, along with the date and time of the class you've booked. Payment is taken through PayPal: we never see or store your card details, PayPal handles the payment directly and only tells us whether it succeeded.

Shop purchases

When you buy something from the shop, payment is handled entirely by PayPal in the same way. We don't store order or buyer details in a database on this site at all, by design, we only receive a one-off email notification with your name and email address so we know an order has come in and can fulfil it.

Joining the mailing list

If you tick the mailing list box while booking, or sign up separately, we store your name (if given) and email address so we can send you occasional newsletters about classes, workshops and updates. Every newsletter includes a one-click unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing removes you from future emails straight away.

Getting in touch

If you contact us directly by email or social media, we'll have whatever information you choose to share with us in that message.

Visiting the website

We use Google Analytics to understand how the website is used, things like which pages are visited, roughly how long for, and the type of device being used. This works using cookies and gives us an approximate idea of visitor numbers, it does not tell us who you are by name. You can find out more about how Google handles this data at policies.google.com/privacy, and you can opt out of Google Analytics tracking across all websites using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on. Most browsers also let you block or delete cookies in their settings if you'd rather not be tracked at all.

Why we use your information

We only use your information for the reasons we collected it:

• To provide the service you've asked for Confirming and managing your class booking or shop order, and contacting you if there's a problem with either.
• To send marketing emails, only with your consent We'll only email you newsletters if you've actively opted in, and you can withdraw that consent at any time by unsubscribing.
• To keep basic business and accounting records Such as records of bookings and payments, which we're required to keep for tax purposes.
• To understand and improve the website Using the anonymised, aggregate insights Google Analytics provides.

Who we share it with

We don't sell or rent your personal information to anyone. It's shared only where it's needed to actually provide the service:

• PayPal To process payments for bookings and shop orders. PayPal acts as its own data controller for this, see PayPal's own privacy policy for how they handle it.
• Our email and web hosting providers Who store and send data on our behalf as part of running the website and mailing list, under their own security obligations to us.
• Google For website analytics, as described above.

How long we keep it

Booking and payment records are kept for as long as we're required to for tax and accounting purposes (typically around six years). Mailing list details are kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to remove them. Shop order details are not stored at all beyond the one-off notification email used to fulfil your order.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law, you have the right to:

• Access Ask what personal information we hold about you.
• Correct it Ask us to fix anything that's inaccurate or out of date.
• Delete it Ask us to remove your information, where we're not required to keep it for legal reasons such as accounting records.
• Withdraw consent Unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time, with no effect on any class or order already booked.
• Object or restrict Ask us to stop, or limit, certain uses of your information.
• Complain Raise a concern with the UK's Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk if you feel we haven't handled your information properly.

Keeping your information safe

We take reasonable steps to protect your personal information, including keeping passwords and payment processing separate from the data we do store. No method of storing or sending information online is completely secure, but we work to keep the risk as low as we reasonably can.

Children's privacy

This website isn't directed at children, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time, for example if the services we offer change. The "last updated" date at the top of this page will always reflect the latest version.
